Ceremony in North Carolina

I traveled to North Carolina for the privilege to witness and document the ceremony between these two wonderful women. I was so happy to see the support of their friends and family, and the participation of their children during the ceremony and joyful party that followed.

Off Topic

Ok, this has NOTHING to do with photography, other than the fact that I took the picture of the cake. It was Markie's 2nd birthday and we all know what a "Cars" freak he is! I thought he'd love a Lightning McQueen and Mater cake, so I channeled my inner "Ace of Cakes" and made my first structural cake. Just had to share!

Two Years Old!

Little H turned two the week before our session. He was full of fun and all boy! We had a great time driving his matchbox cars up a tree trunk, and throwing an orange like a ball. These are my two favorite shots from that day.

Best quarter I ever spent

Elisa picked out this alligator at a garage sale when she was 2. It was 25 cents. It is still a favorite toy, a year and a half later, and she and Mark fight over it all the time. The alligator eats crayons (3 can fit inside him), and he also enjoys beads, puzzle pieces and pennies.
