We had a gorgeous day for this family's photos. I last saw them when the little guy was 9 months old, and now, he's talking and walking!

Peek-A-Boo!

Little B was still sleepy after a long nap, but sure warmed up after this game of peek-a-boo. I had so much fun with B and his parents! Thanks for letting me share your day :)

A Day at the Beach with the McNair Clan

What a great day!!!! I had so much fun with this family. It was Joan and Sir's 50th wedding anniversary, and they celebrated by bringing the entire family to a beach house for the weekend. On a rare hot day in Santa Cruz, they were all great sports and hiked through the neighborhood, stopping for photos along the way, and then headed down to the beach. It was so bright and contrasty, I was searching for the tiniest respite from the glare. There were itty-bitty poofy clouds in the sky and once in a while one would pass in front of the sun, barely diffusing the blinding rays. I would yell, "Cloud Cover!" and the family would come running, jumping into position for a shot. Here you can see the entire group, and also one of "three generations", with Sir, his son, and his grandson. When our session was over, we walked back to the house for a few shots of the happy couple alone. I almost cried when Joan looked at her watch and said, "50 years ago, I was walking down the aisle." (I won't share Sir's racy reply :)

He's got Personality!

This little guy is so expressive! I worked with him and his family just before Christmas. His older sister and brother were so patient and helpful. These images are among my favorites of him.
